Professor Jan Borm, UArctic Chair in Arctic Humanities, appointed Knight of the Order of the Legion of Honour
Professor Jan Borm, Director of the Malaurie Institute of Arctic Research Monaco-UVSQ and UArctic Chair in Arctic Humanities, has been appointed Knight of the Order of the Legion of Honour ("Chevalier de l'Ordre de la Légion d'Honneur") on the occasion of French National Day promotion on July 14.
The French Republic recognizes outstanding merits acquired in the service of France with this prestigious award. The National Order of the Legion of Honour ("Ordre National de la Légion d’Honneur") is the highest French order of merit, both military and civil.
