Inter-Polar Conference 2025 Report Published

The UArctic Chair in Legal Research and Education, Kamrul Hossain, is pleased to announce the publication of the conference report for the second Inter-Polar Conference 2025. The report was drafted by doctoral researcher Ashwarya Sanas, an active participant in the event, under the guidance of the conference organizing team from the University of Lapland and the International Centre for Integrating Mountain Development (ICIMOD). Ramcharan Vijayaraghavan has designed the overall report’s layout.

The conference took place in Kathmandu, Nepal, from September 3–5, and was hosted in collaboration with the UArctic Law Thematic Network and the Arctic Centre of the University of Lapland. It brought together nearly 100 experts, scholars, and Indigenous representatives from the Arctic and the Third Pole Hindu Kush Himalaya.
