Arctic Encounter 2025 scholarships for rural residents & elders
Offered annually, this scholarship is designed to increase diversity and access at the event.
It is open to residents of communities deemed rural by the Federal Subsistence Board and individuals aged 65 or older.
Applications for the Rural Resident & Elder Scholarship will be reviewed immediately and acceptances will be sent on a rolling basis.
Scholarship recipients will receive full coverage for registration, which includes access to all plenary sessions, breakout sessions, breakfast each day, seated luncheons each day, the Far North Fashion Show, and the Arctic Encounter Showcase.
Please note that this scholarship does not cover flights or lodging in Anchorage.
