Arctic Repair - Solutions for a warming world

Taking place in June in Cambridge, UK, the conference explores the most promising research into protecting the Arctic from rapid warming with experts on science, technology, and ethical pathways. Abstracts can still be submitted until February 28.

The Centre for Climate Repair, in association with UArctic, is proud to present Arctic Repair 2025, a pioneering conference on innovative solutions for a changing climate. This pioneering conference centres on cutting-edge ideas of potential climate engineering interventions and governance frameworks. Come to beautiful Cambridge, United Kingdom, from 26-28 June to join the conversation.

How can we protect the Arctic in an era of rapid warming caused by human action - and who should decide? The 5 Big Themes of the conference are stepping stones to more informed decision-making where it matters. Together, the aim is to defend the Arctic while ensuring a just and responsible response to the climate crisis. Speakers will talk on ethics, governance and public perception; Marine Cloud Brightening; Stratospheric Aerosol Injection; other interventions; and the future of Arctic repair.

Abstract submissions are open - please submit by 28 February to be considered for a poster or presentation. Before dedicated poster sessions, participants will have the opportunity to share a one-minute overview of their poster.
