AliVE: Age-inclusive Lifelong Learning
The objective of the project is to address barriers to age-inclusive learning and to build sustainable enablers that will extend and enhance engagement of older adults 55+ in higher education.
AliVE project's objectives will be achieved by
a) developing a micro-credential that is transferrable across diverse settings and flexible to local needs and
b) generating guidelines as a methodological roadmap for co-constructing micro-credentials in future educational initiatives.
In 2025 the project presented a paper on co-designing with older adults in the AliVe project at EUCEN 2025 in Lille, France. Additionally, the developed micro-credential educational programme was piloted in Austria in collaboration with persons over 55, enhancing lifelong learning opportunities and empowerment.
AliVE project is part of the activities of the Thematic Network on Ageing and Gender in the Arctic.
