Board member Anne Husebekk is being honored with a seminar for her 70th Birthday
Professor Anne Husebekk, a long time Board member of UArctic, is being honored with a seminar at The Arctic University of Norway for her 70th birthday
Professor Anne Husebekk is a UArctic Board member and has had a important role in developing the UArctic to the network of Universities and other organizations that it is today with her many years of dedicated work for education in the North. Anne is currently the philanthropy initiative leader in UArctic and has represented the Arctic Community in the International Council of Science.
Anne has also in her career been the rector of The Arctic University of Norway, a leading university in the UArctic network. In honor of her 70th Birthday and many years of working with academia in the Arctic region, The Arctic University of Norway has planned a seminar with the Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Garh Störe as keynote speaker.
Among other attendees to the seminar will be the President of The International Science Council Sir Peter Gluckman and the president of UArctic Lars Kullerud. The event is hosted by the rector of The Arctic University of Norway, Dag Rune Olsen.
