NOSA-HLD Symposium 2027 Call for Abstracts open

The Thematic Network on High Latitude Dust is happy to announce that the abstract submission is now open for Nordic Society for Aerosol Research (NOSA) Symposium with the 11th High Latitude Dust (HLD) Workshop to be held in Reykjavík, Iceland, on February 9-12, 2027. The abstract submission deadline is October 20, 2026.

This NOSA-HLD 2027 Symposium with the 3rd Dust-Art Exhibition, Aerosol Instrument Exhibitors in person and CAMS session will be co-organized by the Icelandic Aerosol and Dust Association, UArctic Thematic Network on HLD and the Agricultural University of Iceland. This event is to emphasize that 'Iceland and Arctic care about air pollution and aerosols'.

The main focus in 2027 is in-situ measurements, remote sensing, modeling, long-range transport, and climate impacts of aerosols in the Arctic and at high latitudes. Early Career Scientists (ECS) will organize two tutorials and ECS discussions are encouraged.

The abstract should contain max. 250 words and be written as plain text (no figures, equations, references). The abstract submission deadline is 20th October 2026.

For more information see the NOSA-HLD 2027 webpage.
