north2north for Kingdom of Denmark

north2north staff and faculty mobility funding for the Kingdom of Denmark

 Apply for Staff and Faculty north2north mobility funding available from and to Danish, Greenlandic and Faroese north2north member institutions. Apply by February 1, 2026.

Through a grant from the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science, north2north for the Kingdom of Denmark offers staff and faculty mobility funding between member institutions within the Kingdom and other north2north partners.

The call is open to all north2north partners staff and faculty for exchange from or to Danish, Greenlandic or Faroese north2north members of UArctic.

Intra Kingdom of Denmark mobility is eligible, however, other instruments for this should take priority.

Criteria for eligibility:

  • The applicant must be employed at a UArctic member institution
  • No fixed duration is required, but a minimum of five (5) days for academic staff and three (3) days for administrative staff dedicated to teaching, research or networking development, on an Arctic-related topic is required
  • Mobility activities should take place during the fall 2026 or spring 2027 semester
  • The applicant is responsible for finding the partner university and arranging the exchange themselves
  • Before submitting the application to the north2north coordinator at a Danish, Greenlandic or Faroese institution, please include the contact person from the host institution (signature on application form required) and permission from your home institution (signature on the application form required). Please contact the north2north coordinator, in case you need help finding the right contacts
  • Those receiving funding are required to send a short narrative report, along with photos, on completion of their mobility activity

Application process

To apply, complete and submit the application form to the north2north coordinator at a Danish, Greenlandic or Faroese north2north member institution by the deadline February 1st, 2026. The north2north coordinator information can be found by clicking the Kingdom of Denmark institution below.

Applicants can expect a reply by March 30th, 2026.
