UArctic at UNESCO´s 2018 International Conference of NGO´s
The 2018 edition of the Conference will focus on the theme “Enhancing and promoting the commitment and contribution of UNESCO’s NGO partners”
UArctic is one of the NGO partners present in the UNESCO NGO Liaison Committee International Conference on Non-Governmental Organizations at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris on 17-19 December, 2018. Both President Lars Kullerud and Vice-President Organization Outi Snellman are formal delegates representing UArctic in the meeting. UArctic is also one of the 35 organizations participating in the information sharing session with a booth on Monday 17 December.
The Conference is a key forum in which UNESCO’s official NGO partners meet to review the state of cooperation with UNESCO. This year’s Conference will provide a welcome opportunity to examine collective NGO action carried out in 2017 and 2018, and consider the main lines of collective cooperation for 2019-2020.
