Researchers and industry shared their views at the world's first 6G Wireless Summit

6G Flagship

The first 6G Summit was organized at the Levi resort, in Finnish Lapland, 24-26 March, 2019. Researchers and industry shared their views on 6G communication system, i.e. technology that will be used in 2030’s.

Many talks pointed out that United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals should be taken into account including rural/remote area connectivity, green technology and development, public sector such as safety and (e-)health and citizen internet.

6G Flagship is led by the Centre for Wireless Communications (CWC), University of Oulu.
