"Sherpas Amidst the Mist" – a documentary film showcasing Yak herding in the Third Polar region
The film – Sherpas Amidst the Mist – is the product of the project “Interdisciplinary curricula on Indigenous and Tribal Studies comparing the Arctic and India,” produced in partnership with the UArctic Chair in Arctic Legal Research and Education and the UArctic Law Thematic Network.
The documentary showcases the story of a last remaining Indigenous family of the village called “Srikhola” located in the Eastern Himalayan region.
