*The External Evaluation Report and the Board's proposals for follow-up are on the agenda for the Assembly. The Assembly Breakout Sessions at the Assembly in 2024 will focus on five development areas from the External Evaluation Report.
The External Evaluation Report of UArctic is a thorough review conducted in 2022-2023 to assess and guide the organization's future direction. The External Evaluation was carried out by a group of independent experts who reviewed a range of UArctic documents from governance to programming and interviewed the organization's staff and leadership.
The breakouts will not lead to direct decisions at the Assembly, but a summary will be presented to the Assembly as the members together discuss the development needs arising from the Report and the Board's decisions. This process allows members to actively engage with the developmental areas identified in the evaluation, fostering a collaborative approach to implementing the suggested improvements.
