Thu, Oct 10, 2013
The Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU) has recently posted a call for applications for collaboration projects in higher education in the new High North Program. The High North Program 2013–2018 supports cooperation between higher education institutions in Norway and in five important collaboration countries: Canada, Japan, Russia, South Korea, and the United States.
The goal is to expand, strengthen and disseminate knowledge about or relevant to the High North. Funds are available for both long-term partnership projects and limited activities. SIU's call for proposals in 2013 has a funding frame of about NOK 26 million (USD 4,3 million) and the application deadline is December 16, 2013.
