This photo was a collaboration with Justin Fulkerson. A beached whale washed up in Kincaid park in Anchorage and Justin took this photo while we prayed for it. I care more about local nature as I pursue the decolonization of my own mind.
The UArctic Photo Competition is an annual event organized by the University of Arctic (UArctic) in collaboration with the Arctic Sustainable Art and Design Thematic Network (ASAD). The theme of the competition in 2022 is Arctic Polarities.
