Plastic pollution is of ever-growing concern, even in the Arctic. It is a well-known fact that plastic litter is omnipresent in our environment and the eventual sink for plastic waste is the world oceans. The UArctic Network on Arctic Plastic Pollution works to foster networking and exchange of knowledge and coordination amongst the experts of the many different disciplines that have a bearing on plastic pollution.
