The program included visits at the Aix en Provence Schuman Campus, hosted by Vice-President Jean-Francois Marchi, Aix en Provence Campus Arbois at CEREGE (European Center for Research and Teaching in Environmental Geosciences), ESPACE as well as visit at the Aix-Marseille Luminy Campus in Marseille. The Luminy visit included presentations at Mediterranean Institute of Oceonography (MIO) and Laboratoire Information Génomique et Structurale (IGS).
Outi Snellman’s visit was a part of Aix-Marseille’s current work on mapping out their arctic expertise and building an internal network for engagement with UArctic programs.
The visit was coordinated by Camille de Garidel Thoron, Director of Strategic Projects and Networks Office as well as the two UArctic Assembly representatives of Aix-Marseille, Sebastien Gadal, Professor of Geography in Spatial Analysis and Geomatics and Auri Kostama- Goerger, International Projects Coordinator.
