The Arctic week 2019
Call for proposals for the Arctic week 2019 in Paris. The Arctic week 2019 will take place from December 9 to 13 at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs in Paris. The event will be chaired by Ségolène Royal, ambassador for the poles.
The Arctic week 2019, an international and transdisciplinary conference bridging indigenous an scientific knowledge, launches a call for proposals.
Under the high patronage of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the idea for the Arctic Week 2019 is to create synergies between social and environmental scientists and between scientists and Arctic indigenous peoples while also engaging students and youth in these projects. The participation of Arctic indigenous peoples from Siberia, Northern Europe, Greenland, Alaska and Canada as well as students is crucial for this conference.
The scientific committee for this Arctic week 2018 is looking for:
- Coordinated sessions;
- Individual presentations (15-20 minutes);
- Film screening and commenting;
- Posters.
