The Event organized in collaboration with the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Italy and with the High North Center for Business and Governance – Nord Universitet (Bodø, Norway) took place in a hybrid mode and in English at the Italian Society for International Organization (SIOI) headquarters.
On 28 February, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, the Side Event “Youth engagement in the Arctic to tackle the climate change” collected ideas and proposals from young people on the measures that governments and businesses could adopt to make the High North a better place to live and work during times of climate change.
The works of the Symposium took place on February 29, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.The high-level event addressed issues related to the Arctic and Mediterranean quadrant with the aim of analyzing any parallels on common challenges linked to the energy crisis and the ecological transition. Italian and foreign experts from the scientific, economic, academic and political sectors participated.
